Great for about any room. They look very expensive but take care, both that I purchased were cracked. The 2nd one was a small crack so I didn't return it, but the first was smashed in shipping (probably from China).

The coasters themselves are beautiful, but they come with a sticker covering the top coaster that just doesn't come off. I've tried hot water, soap, my nails, and still the coaster is covered in cheap glue. Because bamboo is delicate, more radical measures would damage the coaster irremediably. I will be returning this item!

Nice looking coasters, but note that the bottoms are not finished, and there are some very fine rough edges. this defeats the purpose of protecting the surface beneath, because it will scratch wood if slid at all.
I am buying rubber feet to apply to the bottom of these coasters so they stop scratching my furniture.
